Barb is delighted to feature the following companies in the showroom:
Crystal Cabinet Works
Crystal Cabinet Works’ manufacturing facility, located in Princeton, MN, is certified by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP). Crystal was involved with the development of the program, which highlights sound environmental practices concerning product and process resource management, air quality, and community relations.
- Crystal also offers a wide variety of North American hardwoods which are sustainable because they are not currently endangered and have a lower carbon footprint than imported woods.
- In addition, they offer a low VOC finish. The vapor that Volatile Organic Compounds release creates smog and depresses the nervous system, damages livers, lungs, and kidneys.
Cambria
Cambria countertops are made in the US and are GREENGUARD certified. The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute is an independent organization that aims to protect human health and improve the quality of life by enhancing indoor air quality. They certify products and materials for low chemical emissions and a low embedded carbon footprint.
